I’m a Postdoctoral Researcher at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. My current research focuses on the governance of nature-based solutions in cities and discusses the use of participatory practices as part of climate change adaptation projects. My interdisciplinary background in engineering, urban studies and social sciences has equipped me with the skills necessary to work in projects at the interface between planning, infrastructure management, climate adaptation policy and urban design.
I have experience conducting research, and teaching activities autonomously and collaboratively as part of interdisciplinary teams. I have collaborated with researchers and taught in different roles in civil engineering, planning, architecture and landscape architecture departments in several countries including Australia (RMIT, Monash University), the Netherlands (Utrecht University), Brazil (University of Brasilia, IESB) and the United States (University of Pennsylvania).
