Hi! I’m Erika Cooper, a freelance editor with Soul Mate Publishing. I love editing as much as I love Polynesian dancing, which is my other passion! Specializing in romance and Young Adult fiction, I savor getting my hands on a rough manuscript and polishing it until it shines. I am an advocate of the Oxford Comma and mandatory adult nap time. I am a bit of a grammar nazi and I deeply love the written word.

I’m available for hire as a developmental editor and line editor. I concentrate on the following genres: Contemporary Romance, New Adult Romance, Young Adult Romance, and Young Adult Fiction, but I am available for other genres as well.

I do not work with the following genres: BDSM, erotica, stories with dead pets, most sexual assault/rape stories (some exceptions apply).
