Film History & Screenwriting Professor and Narrative/Documentary Filmmaker in Santa Ana, California
A graduate of UC Berkeley (BA, 2005) and Chapman University (MFA, 2013), Ezra Lunel is a producer, director, editor and camera operator who has worked in production and development at CNN, ESPN, PBS, Lifetime Television, River Road Entertainment, Future Film Group, and KUSI-TV in San Diego, as well as on dozens of independent shorts and feature films since 2004.
Ezra currently lectures in Screenwriting and Film History at Santa Ana College. He previously taught video production and film courses at the Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales in Guadalajara, Mexico, and he was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts for three years. Ezra is a former Canon Customer Service Specialist and Technical Expert at the Canon Experience Center in Costa Mesa, CA, where he trained photographers and cinematographers on the features and functions of Canon's line of digital imaging products, including EOS Digital Cinema cameras and lenses.
A native of Southern California, Ezra has resided and worked in Mexico, France, Australia, Spain and New York. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational French. He lives in Orange County with his wife, Andrea, and five-year-old son, Leo.
