Hi. My name is Ivan(Yifan) Fan. I am a software engineer living in Sydney and a current lead developer at Stream Lending.

I am interested in building scalable, stable and high-available systems, developing FinTech solution and studying machine learning. I'd like to embrace with latest technologies and keep learning new things every day.

I have a thorough background in financial technology. Previously, I built a POS integration platform with accounting software (e.g Xero) at the 5andhalf team. Now I'm developing a banking platform from scratch at Stream Lending as a team leader. I'm also working on my simple trading platform (personal side project) with python and trying to introduce machine learning algorithms into it :P

I also have a wide range of knowledge about different technologies thanks for different projects I have done previously.

In my spare time, if I'm not working on my incomplete side project, you'll either find me swimming at the gym, or on my self-improvement training about finance and computer science.
