Fatimah Jackson-Best is a healthcare researcher, advocate, and academic. Her PhD research project focuses on Caribbean women's maternal health and explores how women in Barbados experience baby blues and postpartum depression.
Fatimah is also invested in the health of Muslim communities, and has participted in research projects on diabetes and mental healthcare program needs for men and women.
Since relocating to Barbados from Toronto, Canada she has become a strong supporter of local food, active lifestyles and clean living. Fatimah believes that we all have the right to good physical, spiritual and mental health.
