President of Association for Learning Technology (ALT) A Senior Fellow and Associate Consultant (Transforming Assessment) of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and Education Development Manager based in the Institute for Learning, Innovation and Development at the University of Southampton, UK. I was a lecturer and Programme Leader at IT at Highbury College for 6 years and joined the University in 2005. I work with exciting and innovative academics and students developing digital literacies skills and networks.

Board member for cross uni curriculum developments including Flexible Learning modules and mentor to many university projects. Set up iPads for use in Higher Education (#iPADcc). #iChamps - students engaging across the University and the Southampton Opportunity.

Develop digital literacies skills, I can see the potential for openbadges for education. I'm working with national and international organisations on skills development for digital skills.

Constantly reviewing and engaging with new ideas and technologies for education enhancement. Firm believer that learning happens through experience (and fun).
