Frederick Coxen

I'm a baby boomer born in 1947

My hobbies include: painting, woodworking and writing

In 2005 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's and by 2009 I was forced to leave employment. I pledged to myself that I would not be defined by my disease and although I dabbled in different art mediums throughout my life, I committed myself to pursue my passion through landscape oil painting. After five years I felt that I obtained a level of expertise whereby people would purchase my work. I joined "Team Fox" and started a personal campaign, "Art for Parkinson's" whereby I try and sell my work and donate 15% of its gross proceeds to the Michael J Fox Foundation to help find a cure for this hideous disease. You can view my work on my Blog site: and all my art is for sale.
