Garland Harwood is the co-founder of Confidant with 14 years of experience building PR and integrated marketing campaigns for brands like Amazon.com, BarkBox, Sonos, Samsung, Microsoft and Getty Images.

Prior to co-founding Confidant in 2015, Garland was senior vice president at Weber Shandwick where he was the global lead for the agency's work with Amazon.com.

Garland was named to PRWeek's "40 Under 40" list in 2013 and PR News' "15-to-Watch" list in 2010. His work leading iStock by Getty Images' "Free the Creative" campaign won Product Brand Development Campaign of the Year at the inaugural PRWeek Global Awards in 2014. He has also spoken at industry events such as mUmBRELLA's CommsCon in Sydney.

Outside of his day job, Garland writes about Americana and bluegrass music at grass clippings, a blog he started in 2009 with a few friends.
