In 2014, Garland led integrated communications for the Sonos Studio in New York, a week long cultural event with artists, thinkers and installations that injected the brand into the NYC music scene. Garland has also worked with Samsung's Home Entertainment division, overseeing major events and announcements for Samsung TV and home audio products including the company’s historic 3D TV and smart TV launches and entrance into the premium audio dock market. In addition, Garland has helped Doppler Labs (Here Active Listening), Quidsi, Getty Images, ZocDoc, iStock, WebMD, Viggle, THX, Honeywell, Amdocs and Synacor to raise awareness through strategic media relations programs.

Before joining Weber, Garland was at Maloney & Fox, where he spent four years working with Microsoft’s MSN & Windows Live, as well as other brands like eMusic, Cablevision, Rockport and RCA.

Garland's work leading iStock by Getty Images' "Free the Creative" campaign won Product Brand Development Campaign of the Year at the PRWeek Global Awards. He has spoken at industry events, such as mUmBRELLA's CommsCon in Sydney, and is on the Board of Visitors for the The University of Alabama's College of Communication and Information Sciences.
