Gathoni Mbugua is a Snr Clinical Psych; Masters Clinical Psychology-USIU, Advanced Diploma in Mental Health Clinical Practice- AMREF Int , B.A PSY-Egerton University-First Class Honors with over 9 yrs’ experience in the field of psychology. Gathoni is passionate about Wellness ,Mental Health Innovation, Mindset Coaching, CBT & Trauma Focused Therapy.

Current Position
Gathoni is a Clinical Psych & Head of Digital Relations at Chiromo Hospital Group . She is also seconded to AAR Hospital as the Psychologist in Charge. In the Digital Realm, she's continued with her passion on advocacy & creating awareness on various mental health issues, through social media and tailor made Corporate talks, E.A.Ps in various organizations and in the mainstream Media.

Professional Experience
She has previously worked as a Clinical Manager at Care-Tech Medical Center, Kiambu Hospital Psychiatric Clinic & KEMRI a clinical counselor.

Interests
a) Mentorship: Passionate about working with the youth, inspiring them in leadership & life skills. In this regard, she is a Mentor with Akili Dada.
b)Writing: Articles Magazines, Newspaper, Blogs, Newsletters
c)Training: Corporate Training for Homogenous groups: HRs, 2Managers, C-Suites, Mental health Champions, Public Service

Presentations: Corporate organization, community-based settings, churches, Small Groups, Health care workers

She has sat in numerous panels in a mental health capacity &was W.H.O & M.O.H Fellow 2018 1st cohort in a quality rights training.
