About Me
I am a die-hard Texas native from Houston. I enjoy engaging in intelligent conversation and platonic friendships. Honesty and transparency are paramount in all that I do and say.
I love and cherish family, gardening, homesteading, the beach, beautiful scenic places, movies, international food, live music, traveling, health/fitness, learning new things, enjoying life, and above all "The Lord". I also enjoy cooking, preserving, sewing, knitting, weaving, biking, camping, fishing, reading, and jigsaw puzzlistry. Yahuah continues to blessed me with the ability and opportunities to engage in so many adventurously “wonder-filled” experiences, ranging from evangelizing youth for Christ, to jumping out of perfectly good Army aircraft (Airborne!).
I am perpetually grateful for the many blessings Yahuah has bestowed upon my life, including extraordinarily loving parents, two sisters, two wonderful adult children (son and daughter), who are tremendous blessings to my life. I have also been blessed with four wonderful grandchildren, who always bring a smile to my face, and joy to my heart (three gorgeous, gifted granddaughters and a handsome, gifted grandson).
On the professional front, I am a retired engineer, and a former commissioned officer (Army). Among my true passions is STEM education, and "Inspiring the Minds of Tomorrow". My life is centered and grounded upon these truths: "God (Yahuah) is faithful! Jesus (Yeshua Hamashiach) is Lord, the Holy Spirit (Ruach) is at work, and the power and privilege of prayer aligned to Yahuah’s will, changes things!”
