Hi, I’m Dr. Gordon Pedersen, PhD (Toxicology), PhD (Immunology), MS (Cardiac Rehab & Wellness), ABAAHP (Anti-Aging Health Practitioner)—scientist, adventurer, wellness junkie, and believer in doing things a little differently. Whether I’m kayaking wild rivers, skiing fresh powder, or diving deep into immune science, I’m always chasing what makes life longer, stronger, and more vibrant.

I’ve authored bestselling books including A Fighting Chance, Reverse Aging Now, Live Young with Healthy Chocolate, Young Again with HGH, and Chicken Soup for the Enriching Soul: Stories of Hope, Health, and Healing—co-authored with my friends Mark Victor Hansen, Jack Canfield, and Debra Jones, and a New York Times Bestseller.

I earned my two PhDs and MS at Utah State University, my Doctorate in Naturopathy at the Trinity School of Natural Health and interned at the University of Utah, working with polio vaccine inventor Dr. Jonas Salk. I received my Board Certification in Anti-Aging Medicine at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M)

In 1998, Mark Victor Hansen and I co-created the top-selling audio program ReGHeneration-X: Young Again with hGH, introducing audiences to Human Growth Hormone and its regenerative potential.

From 2004 to 2009, I served as a volunteer instructor with SOMA (Special Operations Medical Association) for Infection Control in Tampa, Florida under Army Colonels Alan Moloff and Robert Saum. In 2009, I received SOMA’s Distinguished Speaker Award for outstanding instruction. SOMA, the world's only medical association combining pre-hospital, tactical, wilderness, austere, disaster and deployed medicine, was founded by Special Forces officers.

From 2006–2010, I traveled to Africa where a major global killer was taking over a million lives annually, mostly children under five. I worked with local doctors and military hospitals to help eradicate this lethal plasmodia germ. In 2010, after three years of successful treatments, we published the cure for malaria in The Indian Practitioner, one of India's most widely read medical journals.

I also hosted Common Sense Medicine with Dr. Pedersen and have CEO'd, consulted with or served as VP at a variety of health and nutritional companies including the VP of R&D at Weider Nutrition, the worlds biggest sports nutrition company and publisher of Muscle and Fitness, and Chief Scientific Officer at Nikken.

In 2017, I married the love of my life, Julia—and yes, she'll confirm… I love to talk about antioxidants!
