Gorgeous. It's Gourjo
Built at the end of the 18th century in Clermont l’Hérault, a small city in Languedoc, the Domaine de Gourjo has been the pride of many wine producers.
Since 1940, the Domaine has belonged to the Salasc Family whose origins lie in the small village of Salasc, located 15km from the Domaine. The landscape of Salasc is made up of “garrigues and ruffes” at the banks of Salagou Lake.
Our vineyard is located on hillsides in the north part of the Hérault department, very close to the Cevennes Mountains.
They benefit from tremendous sun exposure, which protects them from the north wind and the frosts. The soils are clay and limestone with lots of stones, and favor natural and authentic aromas.
