Gabe Punke was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and now resides in Knoxville where he attends The University of Tennessee. Punke is a sophomore majoring in Kinesiology and is expected to graduate in May 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education, Health, and Human Sciences.
As a student assistant with the sports medicine program, he has worked with the Lady Vols Rowing and Soccer Teams to further his knowledge in athletic training and physical therapy. Punke is looking forward to shadowing at a physical therapy clinic during the upcoming summer and working with the football team for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Punke is the youngest of four siblings and enjoys playing sports, hiking, and visiting the lake in the summer. He also likes to cook and draw in his free time. His present goals include obtaining a strength and conditioning certification and preparing for the Graduate Record Examinations. After graduation, he will aspire to attain a degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
