Recognized as a collaborative leader in British Columbia's college sector, Graham has over a decade of experience as an international business developer, relationship builder, and entrepreneurial administrator.
In 2007, Graham had the privilege of living in Kenya as a post-graduate intern. In 2008, he worked as a Campaign Coordinator for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada in Victoria, BC.
In 2009, he joined College of the Rockies as an International Project Coordinator and then as Manager, International Projects and Partnerships in 2012. From 2015 to 2019, Graham was the Manager, Global Consulting and Partnerships at Camosun College (based in Victoria, BC) where he was responsible for leading customized programs, offshore partnerships and consulting assignments, and the Camosun English Learning Adventures program.
His project management experience spans the globe where he has worked with clients in sectors including construction, oil and gas, mining, renewable energy, hospitality and tourism, healthcare, ESL and educational leadership. He has worked with aid agencies, development banks, governments, industry, foundations and educational institutions as a means of contributing to sustainable economic development in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
Honoured to be part of teams awarded Silver for Social Development by the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics, as well as Gold for Excellence in Internationalization by Colleges and Institutes Canada, Graham believes in the importance of building outstanding teams.
In late 2018, Graham was Acting Director, Camosun International, leading a department of 30 staff and faculty, supporting the execution of the college's internationalization strategy with $25m in gross annual revenue.
In 2019 Graham accepted a position at College of the Rockies as the institution's first Director, Donor and Alumni Engagement where he is responsible for developing and leading the advancement strategy. He is passionate about the college's applied learning focus and is committed to fostering community engagement, linking investment to students.
Graham also serves on the Advisory Board for Meetings that Matter, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.
He holds a Diploma in Music (Jazz Performance – drums), a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science), and is completing a Masters in International Business Management.
Most importantly, Graham loves spending time outdoors with his wife and young son and their Rhodesian Ridgeback.
