Guillaume Dupont

Nice, France

I am a 21-year-old aviation engineering student living in Nice, France. I currently work for Amadeus, a leading company designing IT solutions for airlines and the travel industry. Besides, I write articles for the New Airport Insider, focusing on countries and airports where aviation is fast changing.

Aviation is one of my passions, and gathered with my strong interest in economics, I like to observe the strategies set up by airlines to make money, expand, or sometimes barely survive. My twitter account is dedicated to this field and has been selected among the 100 most influential twitters in aviation worldwide. I appreciate seeing the very diverse world of aviation from the inside (visit airports, airlines' operation centers, ATC towers, flight test airplanes and assembly lines, flight decks), and thanks to my studies I have been covering the aviation field very widely. I was also a pilot on C150.

My hobbies include skiing in winter, mixing music, taking photos in urban areas, and travelling. I travelled to several countries in America, Europe and Asia, and lived 6 months in Beijing, China.
