I'm a highly caffeinated creative from Irvine, California currently living in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Following a good few years of recording, performing, and touring in a handful of indie rock bands in my twenties, I’ve spent the better part of a decade working in the music industry as a record producer, songwriter, composer, recording engineer, and session musician. Nowadays, most of my time spent songwriting and producing music is as a member of the Songwriters & Composers Wing of the Recording Academy and my own band, abandcalledlove. I also work as a professional touring musician for artists and bands such as the indie chamber pop outfit Adjy, among others.
Thanks in part to a global pandemic slowing the music industry to a halt in 2020, I gradually embraced a career pivot from full-time music industry work to multiple vocations in the realms of social media and digital marketing after several years of accumulating hands-on experience growing and maintaining the audiences and retention of business clientele for myself, as well as multiple successful brands and companies in, adjacent to, and outside of the music industry. I now specialize in helping individuals and companies seeking to create compelling user experiences expand the scope and reach of their projects by crafting and guiding their creative vision, or simply aiding in the development of their brand’s unique voice and online presence. Companies and brands I’ve worked for include Twitter, Warby Parker, and American Family Insurance.
Past lives include: criminal research analyst, barista, and English major. Currently: husband to my best friend and high school sweetheart, father to a beautiful baby girl, avid gamer, amateur fitness enthusiast, and aspiring baker. Very much looking forward to my mid-life crisis, which will hopefully entail me getting into either coffee or craft beer enough to make my own.
