Irsa Wafiatul Qisthi

Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Studying in a major that requires its student to acquire both economics and sharia (law of Islam) is kind of challenging to me. Even though my former education background doesn't relate to my current study, I believe that there's nothing to worry about as long as I possess persistence and perseverance. Considering sharia banking a promising field to build career, inshaallah I'm committed to become a prominent scholar this year.

I'm strongly attracted to self enhancement and productivity improvement. I've also been enthusiastic about youth movement since I was in high school. I'm currently listed as a member of ForSEI (Forum Studi Ekonomi Islam), a student organization in the field of Islamic economics studies. I'm a part of Youth Finance Indonesia as well, a youth-led NGO concerning on financial literacy and financial education for Indonesian youth. Reading and writing are my favorite activities. Oh, and I gladly invite you to visit my personal blog. Feel free to contact me by e-mail iwqisthi[at]gmail[dot]com.
