Originally interested in architecture, I found my passion in Urban and Regional Planning at UC San Diego as a college undergraduate. Apart from architecture, planning involved a great deal of sociology and economics. In particular, my interest grew when I learned about how scarce housing is for low-income population in the United States. As a result, I produced two theses during my three-years at UC San Diego, exploring the needs and strategies to develop more affordable housing in the U.S.

Today, that same passion drives me as I explore the nexus between affordable housing, transportation & design at UCLA. My ultimate goal as a master's student is to conduct a creative research, exploring such nexus and developing further strategies planners and politicians may be able to use in order to create more affordable, eco-friendly, and sustainable cities.
