Listen to my music

At only eighteen years old, I have traveled all around the globe. I have been to six continents and countless cities, some examples being London, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Amsterdam, Quito, Sydney, Paris, and Vancouver. No, not because I’m rich (although in culture, I am), but because my family and I have a drive to learn about how other people live and to see the world in more ways than one. Spending money on material items is something that’s never been big in my family. Spending money on experiences, however, is a different story. Experiences help to enrich you as a person, and my dad has always raised me to believe that. The beliefs of my parents have rubbed off on me, and now I am always thrilled when we plan a trip (next stop: Israel!). I’ve been traveling internationally since I was around 7 years old, and I’ve never once gotten tired of it. Every trip is a chance to meet people from all over the world, a chance to explore land that is unknown to many people of my hometown, a chance to understand different cultures better, and, of course, a chance to taste delicious and authentic cultural foods. Traveling has become such a huge part of who I am, and I wouldn’t trade my experiences for the world. They have shaped me into a more appreciative, more culturally-aware, and more respectful person. Someday, famous landmarks such as the Great Barrier Reef will be gone. I might as well see them while they last!
