At university she was President of the Entrepreneur Mentor Society in Los Angeles whilst attending Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she received a B.A. in European Studies and a minor in Business Administration.
Upon graduation she moved to New York city where she was promoted to Global Account Manager at Standard & Poor's Capital IQ. For 3 years she sold financial data and analytics to investment banks: Morgan Stanley, HSBC, JP Morgan and Blackstone (4,000+ users) and ran live training sessions for 100+ analysts and associates at a time.
At IESE Business School in Barcelona Jessica analyzed 400+ cases, gaining experience working in and managing international teams in various industries, departments and roles. Jessica has worked at some of the most disruptive FinTech startups in the US and Europe.
At Kantox, the P2P foreign currency exchange for businesses (awarded Startup of The Year 2014 by Banc Sabadell), she interned as Product Developer in their Barcelona office where she spearheaded the design and oversaw the development of their lead generating tool.
At Exitround, the online marketplace for technology companies, (aka "One of top 5 marketplaces to watch" - VentureBeat) in San Francisco, she helped start-ups anonymously list themselves for sale. Jessica also aided Fortune 500 companies (such as Yelp, Facebook, Google) in finding target opportunities for acquisition (or, acqui-hire).
At Ideator, the online platform helping entrepreneurs get the tools and resources they need to take their ideas to the next step, Jessica led the all-night launch on Product Hunt (launched #5 out of hundreds of innovations). Ideator made it into the 1st batch of companies into the Salesforce Incubator.
