The written word can change lives, as its main purpose, when used properly, is to give a voice to those who otherwise seem voiceless. This is the reason why I let my pen do the talking.

I'm a multimedia journalist, currently working as a Digital Writer/Editor for La Opinión/impreMedia, and, on my spare time (all the time), I elaborate intrinsic passages in my handy, dandy notebook; needless to say, the pen keeps me sane.

I was the previous Editor in Chief of El Nuevo Sol, a bilingual site that caters to the Latino community in Los Angeles. I've been published in U-T San Diego's Enlace and the Daily Sundial, and have assisted in the production of a few documentaries regarding health in Latino communities. In May 2014, I received my BA in Journalism, with an emphasis in Spanish Language Journalism.
