Jody Vandergriff is an entrepreneur and chief executive with over 18 years experience building passionate teams and award-winning products. She is the founder of Seeker, the social platform to find and share the places you love. Launched in 2019, Seeker is the culmination of Jody's nearly two decades of experience building products while traveling the world and was born from her belief that travel is a force for good. Today, Seeker powers the visitor experience for destinations across the US and has inspired millions of travelers globally.

Prior to Seeker, Jody founded WebDAM, the first cloud-based brand management platform for enterprise teams. She launched WebDAM in 2010, bootstrapping the company to a market leadership position and doubling revenue year over year until acquisition by Shutterstock in 2014. Today, WebDAM manages the digital assets for some of the most recognizable brands including Coca-Cola, Google and Starbucks.

Jody has been named a Woman of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal, Woman of Excellence by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), one of the Top Women in Digital by Cynopsis Media and one of the 50 Women in Tech Dominating Silicon Valley by Tech.co.

Jody has a BS in Molecular Genetics and an MS in Computer Science and began her career in bioinformatics at Celera Genomics, Applied Biosystems and Genentech where she worked on the Human Genome Project. During this time, she was published in more than 20 scientific journals and co-authored the book Biological Database Modeling. She also holds a patent in this area of research.

In recent years, Jody has dedicated her life to philanthropy and advocacy for the advancement of women and girls. She is a board member at World Pulse and an advisor to a number of tech startups.
