John Swan

I am New Fantasy Indie Author. My name is John Swan a 27 year old native of Illinois, born and raised in the vales of the Mississippi River just north of St. Louis, MO. I have a strong passion and intrigue for weather, and achieved an Associate’s Degree in the Sciences and a Bachelors in Weather and Climate. I coin myself a meteorologist by degree, but writer at heart. As a young teen I became enamored with the works of authors such as J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K.Rowling, C.S. Lewis, and Robert Jordan. Through their expertise in world building, I was drawn into their fantasy realms of action and adventure and it encouraged me to create my own. After many years of traveling and work, I have found myself back in my tiny blue cottage in the woods, writing and launching In Your Dreams. This is the first installment of the six book Aldaya Series, and just the tip of many works to come. I enjoy all things outdoors and am an avid swimmer, hiker, and Mt. biker. I am also a proud supporter of LGBT youth and equal rights for all human beings here in the United States, and all around our world as well.
