I’m a technologist who is far more interested in what you can do with the technology than the technology itself. My core philosophy is simple: technology is a means to an end, whether that end is a better and more successful business or a happier and more stress free life. I started my software development career in the early 1990’s with great products like FoxPro, dBase and Clipper. Today, my interests are focused Cloud, Mobility and the Open Web.

I’m a frequent speaker at several national, regional and local conferences and user groups. I’m a regular columnist for CODE Magazine and a video course author for WintellectNOW, Pluralsight and I’m also a Certified Professional Scrum Master, Trainer and Developer. I’m also an attorney and counselor at law in Pennsylvania. My legal interests include all aspects of intellectual property (copyrights, patents, trademarks and trade secrets), open source software licensing as well as general transactional and business law.

I’m passionate about how the confluence of technology and people can transform business. If you feel the same way, I’d welcome the opportunity to discuss how we could work together to change things for the better.
