John Welsh is the Creative Director at Rare Light Media. Based out of Philadelphia, he has worked - mostly - as a photojournalist since 1987. Diversions have taken him to the remote reaches of Iceland, the depths of a timeless coal breaker, and an ongoing project photographing the Delaware River.

He has served as a director on the ASMP National Board, teaches Photography & Video Marketing photography at Villanova University and Rosemont College.
