Jose Wermesson Barbosa Melo
Student, Psychologist, and Public Speaker in London
Hi, I’m José Wermesson Barbosa Melo.
I’m a psychology student, author, volunteer, and founder of the Escapologist® movement, based in London. Originally from Brazil, I moved to the UK in 2015 in pursuit of new opportunities, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of people and the human mind.
I’m passionate about psychology, neuropsychology, mental health, personal development, and helping others unlock their potential. Alongside my studies, I volunteer in mental health services and enjoy exploring ideas about resilience, self-awareness, and positive change.
I’m the author of The Escapologist: Breaking Free from the Invisible Prison of Your Mind, a book inspired by my own journey and my belief that everyone has the ability to overcome limitations and create a more meaningful life.
When I’m not studying or writing, you’ll usually find me spending time in nature, walking my Cocker, volunteering, reading, or working on new ideas that combine psychology, personal growth, and human potential.
Thanks for stopping by—I’m glad you’re here.
