Josh is driven by the power of Internet, data, and technology entrepreneurship in creating positive impact in the emerging market. He spent his early career serving his homeland—building infrastructure, leading growth, and leveraging data of passion-based and third world nation-tailored start-ups.

His first business venture started during college. Driven by how the lack of tourism management was affecting local traveling, he unwaveringly solved such problem, together with a friend who officially is the founder, by means of testing entrepreneurial capabilities and real-life application of technical studies, which at that time were highly pivotal to the technological requirements and domain understanding of the project. That led to the risky and hands-on product development path of Explora.PH, a one-stop platform for booking trips, homestays, and experiences around the Philippines. It provides an integrated travel ecosystem for businesses and travelers and serves as the official tourism management system and promotion website of more than 20+ local government units. Since 2016, the start-up has onboarded 1,000+ merchants, covered 25,000+ travel destinations, and secured series-A funding and partnerships with top companies, institutions, and government tourism projects.

In 2017, he established FinancialFlex.PH, a financial awareness movement and coaching service to complement his independent business in investment consulting/financial services and in order to reach out to an untapped 80% market opportunity without any form of investment and financial literacy. He championed the online platform as his team's tool to meet agency business goals.

Following his fitness transformation success, he teamed up with media-featured athletes to build ExtraRiseMNL.com, a fitness empowerment community with full-service coaching.

A merit scholar in college, Josh is a former intern at Microsoft and founding executive board member of a university-chapter AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run non-profit for youth leadership and global opportunities.

He was also an award-winning digital media and managing editor for The Benildean Press Corps wherein he also co-authored technology-focused articles; and was an active representative for innovation organizations. In 2015, he was a delegate for the SME symposium of Asia Pacific Economic Conference. And in 2013, his team won in the Dell Social Innovation Challenge for their edutech project.
