Joshua is a technology entrepreneur, financier, and community builder. He previously worked at Accenture as technology and corporate strategy consultant, Deutsche Bank in its global investment banking division, as well as M&A group. He then started North America’s first free-to-play MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) publisher, GamersFirst, which became one of the largest free-to-play MMORPG publishers in the Western Hemisphere with offices in U.S, India, Brazil and Turkey.

He also started a virtual game asset trading platform in China, Item*Star, while simultaneously helping to build Playspan, the largest virtual currency payment platform for gamers in North America; he acted as its early backer, shareholder, and board member prior to its acquisition by Visa International.

He won the Orange County Business Journal’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award and was chosen as one of the OC Metro’s 40 under 40. He was Founder and General Partner of Exponential, an early-stage venture fund based in Newport Beach, CA, focused on financing several startups in digital health, AI, and cloud computing space which included: Curely, Kuddly, Ampsy, Athletigen, UNYQ, RStor, and Fractal.

He also founded and chaired a YPO (Young President’s Organization) Singularity University Seminar which was recognized as one of the highest rated educational programs in YPO. His latest venture, MIND.AI (www.mind.ai), a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) based Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) ecosystem and engine that uses blockchain to tokenize its incentive structure in order to bring massive open-source based dAPP developer adoption.

He also founded Futurama Blockchain Innovators (www.futuramasummit.com) bringing some of the most elite thinkers, financiers, and entrepreneurs in the Blockchain space together. He cofounded a Theme Camp at Burning Man, Cyberia (www.campcyberia.org), that serves more than 100+ burners a year and co-created Polaris, an art car devoted to celebrating music, art and love for humanity.

He has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and International Business. He is a runner, yoga practitioner, meditator, and burner.
