Berlin and San Francisco
I’m Kalie, a San Franciscan living in Berlin by way of Washington DC, Istanbul, and Prague with my chug (pug+chihuahua) Mr. Tobes.
I craft and execute data driven marketing and international PR campaigns for some of the most exciting startups in Berlin seeking to expand to a global market, as well as American startups setting up offices in Berlin. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Rivalfox, datapine, RetentionGrid, Startupbootcamp, Monkey Inferno, and many others.
I write at Berlin Startup Girl, a blog that documents my personal experiences in the international startup scene from Armenia to Tel Aviv to Paris, and to share all things hot in Silicon Allee.
I’ve been featured in various international media outlets, including the Sunday Times and France24 television, and was recently named one of the Top 100 International Entrepreneurs in Berlin.
I’m currently working on a super exciting machine learning project and frequently publish big data related articles. I was recently ranked number 38 out of the top 180 leading data science, big data and analytics bloggers by Data Science Central. My writing has been featured in All Business, Business Computing World, Sys-Con, Big Data News, Geektime and I have a quarterly column featured in the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals Magazine.
I currently serve as a mentor at Startup Weekend and EyeCare Focus Accelerator, and am a frequent technology trend contributor at IntoConnections.
