I have just started a new position as a PhD student at ITU in Copenhagen working with the GIFT project.

My background is in web programing, but after I few years as a developer I went on to study Game Design and Development. Still a student I was the co-initiator of SuperMarit, a EU-funded project about Women and Games in Sweden. In 2006 I founded Ozma Games together with Bobbi A. Sand.

Keeping a focus on game design, Ozma has been working with a wide range of projects over the years, starting off with board games and moving on to locative games and games for change. The target groups have ranged from hospital staff saving energy in their workplace, visitors at science museums, to senior citizens locating historical places in the city.

After meeting the scriptwriter and director Hanna Sköld in 2010 Ozma became a part of the transmedia project Granny’s dancing on the table that won the ARTE Pixel Pitch Prize in 2010. In 2011 Ozma was selected by the Swedish Institute to be one out of 20 companies representing Swedish innovation on an exhibition touring the world.

Examples of games that Ozma has worked on is a series of games with a focus on player’s creativity and personal expression. This includes the poetry game Words of Oz.
