Katy King

Katy King is the principal of Katy King Government Relations and Public Affairs LLC, an Oregon-based firm that offers contract lobbying services. King, a native Oregonian, has over 21 years of experience with state government including 14 years as the government relations manager and lobbyist for the Public Health Division in the Oregon Health Authority. While at the Oregon Health Authority she also represented the Office of Equity and Inclusion and served as the acting legislative director for the department.

Current clients include the Oregon Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Children’s Health Alliance, the Oregon Psychiatric Physicians Association and the Oregon Pediatric Society.

King is a published mystery author. She lives in Portland with her husband, thriller author Dana Haynes, and can be found in the front row for all of his book events.
