Peter Kellogg Bertine

Founder of Finepoint Technologies

Greetings. I’m based in The Hudson Valley region. My office is in Rhinebeck, NY and I primarily work in New York State.

I grew up supporting my father in his Bronxville, NY law firm: Bertine, Hufnagel.

As a licensed real estate professional and fiduciary with a FINRA Series 22 and 63; I have developed multimillion dollar properties and raised money for everything from technology startups to a famous pre-school. I am also a Film Producer: Half the Road

Four decades of legal and business experience has molded me into a singular Trust and Estate Professional. I understand international law, global banking and have experienced the dynamics of families during the “Time of Succession” when a parent is dying.

I am very active as an elder care consultant. Recently, an older friend I’ve been working with called me a “Gentleman’s Gentleman“. Flattered, I took his definition of me to heart. As a great lover of literature I recognize that I am no Sherlock Holmes; however, to be elevated to the ”position” of a Watson or Jeeves is an honor.

My decades of unwavering loyalty and discretion in placing others welfare above my personal enrichment requires me to be of service when there is injustice, and an advocate to anyone asking for my help - rich or poor

When I was younger, my father and I, through our business accelerator Kellogg International, Founded: Finepoint Technologies - finepoint.com

Finepoint provided signup software to ‘Independent Internet Service Providers‘ that allowed them to market themselves to new customers with CD-ROM’s that could be custom branded to the ISP.

The CEO/CTO of Finepoint, John O’ Keefe, later distributed WinPoet and MacPoet to help end users access broadband internet in the later 1990’s.

In 1999 I created ThinkTank56 to incubate new technology companies and empower the arts.

Kellogg and ThinkTank raised money for The Wooster Group: thewoostergroup.org and we supported their premiere of the film, “American Psycho”

I am passionate about technology and work to ensure AI aligns with and supports humanity. I focus my down time on restoring historic sailboats and buildings, supporting the elderly, Original Peoples and the neurodiverse community. I am of service to the sick and suffering and to wounded veterans.

I volunteer for causes that do good work, and I give Technology away through: ReachToRise
