Peter Kellogg Bertine
Founder of Finepoint Technologies
Greetings. I’m Pete. I’m based in The Hudson Valley region. My office is in Rhinebeck, NY and I primarily work in New York State.
I grew up supporting my father in his Bronxville, NY law firm: Bertine, Hufnagel. In college I interned for and was mentored by New York State lobbyist Andy Roffe
I was tutored in the Quaker religion by Ed Bacon; I learned Judaism from Ben Wechsler; I was introduced to the customs of Amazon Original Peoples and the Islamic culture by Kamal Benjelloun; and, I am a member of Christ Church Bronxville
As a licensed real estate professional and fiduciary with a FINRA Series 22 and 63; I have developed multimillion dollar properties and raised money for everything from technology startups to a famous pre-school. I am also a Film Producer: Half the Road
Four decades of legal and business experience has molded me into a singular Trust and Estate Professional. I understand international law, global banking and have experienced the dynamics of families during the “Time of Succession” when a parent is dying.
I am the first ever legitimate American modern-day “Gentleman’s Gentleman“ to the Patriarch of a family considered “American Royalty“ - a family so important to American culture that it‘s Hudson River estate was deeded to it by the Lenni-Lenape - a family so culturally advanced that it embraces and promotes the values of the Lenni-Lenape and works tirelessly to be of service to others.
My decades of unwavering loyalty and discretion in placing others welfare above my enrichment - while serving the most powerful families in the world - requires me to be of service when there is injustice, and an advocate to anyone asking for my help - rich or poor
When I was younger, my father and I, through our business accelerator Kellogg International, Founded: Finepoint Technologies - finepoint.com
Finepoint provided signup software to ‘Independent Internet Service Providers‘ that allowed them to market themselves to new customers with CD-ROM’s that could be custom branded to the ISP.
The CEO/CTO of Finepoint, John O’ Keefe, later distributed WinPoet and MacPoet to help end users access broadband internet in the later 1990’s.
In 1999 I created ThinkTank56 to incubate new technology companies and empower the arts.
Kellogg and ThinkTank raised money for The Wooster Group: thewoostergroup.org and we supported their premiere of the film, “American Psycho”
I am passionate about technology and work to ensure AI aligns with and supports humanity. I focus my down time on restoring historic sailboats and buildings, supporting the elderly, Original Peoples and the neurodiverse community. I am of service to the sick and suffering and to wounded veterans.
I volunteer for causes that do good work, and I give Technology away through: ReachToRise.org
