In order to help fill the need for accurate information, I am offering my skills in research, analysis and fact-checking. I have a background in the analysis of arguments and I have spent thirteen years of self-study to understand reasoning biases in medicine, which is typically created by extrinsic incentives to hold a particular position, even if this position is not supported by evidence or reasoning.
I am happy to be of service in helping to identify the best advice supported by the science and adapting practices to social distancing and mask wearing. I make my reasoning explicit for independent evaluation by the recipient and provide links to my sources of information. My primary sources are scientific studies and the exceptional video summaries by MedCram. When appropriate for informing current events (or simply for useful summaries of scientific information to offer clients), I will also use reputable newspapers.
