Hi! My name is Mathis (Ken) Lohatepanont and I am a student studying political science at the University of California, Berkeley. I'm passionate about democratic development, international relations and all things social sciences.

This summer, I will be interning at Korn Ferry Hay Group, a human resources consulting company. I previously served on the public relations subcommittee of the Constitution Drafting Committee of Thailand, where I helped write social media articles to prepare for a national referendum on the draft constitution.

I write a blog, where I analyse everything from American politics to the history of democracy in Thailand. My posts have been reshared thousands of times in Thailand. I've received awards from the Council of International Schools, been published in local magazines in Bangkok and was interviewed on BBC Radio.

I also believe in the power of student advocacy. I currently lead marketing and communications for the ASUC, UC Berkeley's student government, as the Chief Communications Officer. Previously, I served as Elections Prosecutor, where I helped ensure the integrity of ASUC elections. In high school, I served as high school president and coordinated a network of international school student councils across Thailand.
