Kiel Berry spent his high school years in Paris, France, continuing on to attend the University of Pennsylvania and graduating with a degree in Economics. Upon graduation, Kiel joined JPMorgan’s Investment Banking Division in New York however, building on his international upbringing, Kiel proceeded to work in London and South Africa, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in Europe as well as Sub-Saharan Africa. After 4+ years with JPMorgan, applied his skills to his entrepreneurial passion, joining Team Epiphany in 2008.

Team Epiphany is a NYC-based influencer marketing and public relations agency. Kiel worked at Team Epiphany for 3 years, primarily focused on Business Development and New Business initiatives. While at Team Epiphany, Kiel helped the company grow from a team of 8 people, to a 35+ person team with revenue of $15mm+. Team Epiphany was recognized as one of Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing Companies for 3 consecutive years under his leadership.

In May 2011, Kiel relocated to Los Angeles to join Creative Artists Agency, one of the world’s largest entertainment and sports agencies, where he straddled both the Entertainment Marketing and International Business Development divisions.

In 2013, Kiel became Executive Vice President of the Grammy-award winning rock band Linkin Park’s proprietary company, Machine Shop, where he focused on restructuring, rebranding, and re-launching the business to effectively leverage Linkin Park’s global reach of over 65 million Facebook fans. Upon the platform of the new Machine Shop, they have brought both their Creative Team and Management in-house to effectively drive innovation. In 2015, Kiel helped launch Machine Shop Ventures, a venture capital fund that invests in early-to-growth stage companies with a global scope such as Lyft, HyperloopOne, Robinhood, and Blue Bottle Coffee to name a few. Machine Shop Ventures was featured in WIRED Magazine for its groundbreaking new model.

Outside of his professional career, Kiel is the author of STUNT: Navigate The Journey and an advisor for Localeur (an influencer's guide to major US cities). Kiel has been a Guest Lecturer on various topics at Harvard, UCLA, and University of Southern California.

More recently in 2016, Kiel has joined Viacom Labs as a Senior Vice President based in New York City.

He remains an advisory to Machine Shop Ventures.

Kiel has successfully leveraged his pedigree in finance, marketing, and the entertainment industry to be innovative on a global scale.
