Kiel Berry is a creative business executive, having developed a career track record at the intersection of finance, entertainment, and technology.

Berry is currently VP of the Global Emerging Opportunities Group within the Mergers and Acquisitions division at Viacom, where he leads a team focused on emerging technologies and business models across all Viacom's brands and business units globally.

Berry is an author, global keynote speaker (2-time TEDx), mentor at Techstars and guest lecturer at UCLA, USC, and Harvard. Most recently, Berry was appointed to the NYC Mayor's Office Technology Advisory Council.

Prior to joining Viacom, Berry worked directly with the Grammy-award winning rock band Linkin Park, where he launched Machine Shop Ventures, an early stage venture fund and led the investments in startups such as Blue Bottle Coffee, Lyft, Robinhood, HyperLoop One, and others.

Berry has worked at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, as well as led Business Development at the high-growth influencer marketing company Team Epiphany, leading them to be recognized as Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies for multiple consecutive years.

Berry began his career at JPMorgan's Investment Banking Division in New York, London, and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Berry graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics. He also studied at the University College London, and more recently Harvard Business School.
