Teacher, Security Guard, and Volunteer in Paso Robles, California

Read my blog

I have completed the California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO) post-baccalaureate single-subject teaching credential program starting in August, 2016, and ending in June, 2017. I graduated from Cal Poly in June 2016, with a Bachelor of Arts in History. I already have two Associate of Arts degrees from Cuesta College (history and social & behavioral sciences).

I am currently a security guard with Vino Vice, Inc. and a substitute teacher in Atascadero Unified School District with plans to settle into a full-time teaching position when a spot opens up for me in the next year or two at a school I am interested in working.

I actively volunteer in the local community where I am a past vice president of the Santa Lucia Rockhounds and the current dealer chairman of their 30+ dealer gem, mineral, and jewelry show at the Midstate Fairgrounds in Paso Robles each year. I am past vice president of the San Luis Obispo Gem & Mineral Club and am a co-organizer of their biannual Cambria Gem, Mineral, & Jewelry Show. Therefore, I understand events and how they work.

I'm always open to new employment opportunities so if you would be interested in giving me an interview by all means contact me!
