Bishop Lawrence Ward inspires and mentors others, guiding people to weave faith meaningfully into everyday life.

He is Pastor Emeritus of Abundant Life Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He also serves as the Presiding Elder and Bishop for the New England District of the United Pentecostal Council of the Assemblies of God, Inc.

Bishop Ward is the co-founder of a consulting company, Wards of Wisdom Associates. He equips pastors, churches, business owners, and organizational leaders. His focus areas are leadership and team development, systems thinking, strategic and succession planning, and holistic success. He is a contributing author of Transforming Work: Missiological Perspectives for the Church in the Word.

He earned a B.S. from Northeastern University, an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and an M.A. in Workplace Theology, Ethics, and Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Bishop Ward resides in Boston with his wife, Rev. Dr. Virginia Ward, and they have two adult sons.
