I’m originally from Washington D.C. I grew up In Prince's Georges County Maryland and very much enjoyed the all that the East Coast had to offer. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Arts from Towson University just outside on Baltimore, Maryland. Though my focus was to be an actor in college, I took every opportunity to Direct that I could. Joining the Kuumba Players Theatre Troop gave me that opportunity to direct a lot of my own works as well as original works from other artist. Almost immediately after graduating, I went on tour with The National Players, Americas longest running touring company. I was apart of Tour 57 performing Taming of the Shrew and Dracula in over 30 states in 9 months. The experience and friends I gained while on tour will stay with me forever. The experience recreating great theater performance after performance all over the country left me wanting to move to creating my own productions. So right on cue I moved to Los Angeles.
Living in LA as an actor I’ve released I love the entire process of creating what you see. I truly love acting and found that through writing, directing and editing I could have full creative control to create whatever content I could think of and excite the stories of other creatives as well. If I couldn’t find my role I just wrote it. As lover of the film process from start to finish, I started my Film Company Maryfornia with my two college best friends. We focused on short form content geared toward the internet. Creating a weekly web series, moved me into Writing, Directing and Editing my own Web Series "The Cringe Chronicles.” This is where I truly learned how much work goes into having fun and creating something you’re proud of.
Most recently I’ve been working as a Director and Creator to bring other peoples ideas to life. Coming from my own experience having a father who owned his a construction company, I felt a strong desire to create the media for others small businesses. I wanted to be the visuals for their companies voice. I’ve created content for everything from a Cupcake company to my most recent Music Video. I love the idea of giving an audience something different than what they expect. To challenge what they think about what they’ve always known to be true.
I also work with my hands whenever I can, which comes from working with my dad in his Construction Business. I'm a MacGyver of all things and have my own Furniture Design and Restoration Business LoFi Furniture.
