Lawyer and PhD Candidate - Data Protection Law in Israel
I graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo, completed my LL.M. at Tel Aviv University and I am currently doing my Ph.D. at Tel Aviv University, researching privacy, dark patterns and fairness in data protection. In 2016, I received a Marie-Curie Fellowship (joining Privacy&Us) and, in 2020, I was awarded by the President of Israel the "President's Scholarship for Excellence in Science and Innovation."
Before starting my Ph.D., for six years I worked as a lawyer in São Paulo, dealing mainly with startup companies.
I am author of three books in Portuguese: "Laila - Série Completa," "Humanos, Acordem" and "O que Existe entre um Pensamento e Outro," and organized the book "Direito para Empreendedores." In 2018, my legal article was published in the European Data Protection Law Review. I speak Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Hebrew.
