Manny Famolare is a Massachusetts-based paramedic, actor, filmmaker, and comedian who blends emergency medicine with a passion for storytelling and humor. Born and raised in East Bridgewater—within the legendary “Bridgewater Triangle”—he developed an early interest in the paranormal. As a sponsored skateboarder, he began filming skate videos as a teen, sparking a love for filmmaking that would grow alongside his EMS career.

With over 20 years of experience, Famolare began his paramedic career in the Brockton area, working for American Medical Response. He currently works with South Shore Health’s Hospital-at-Home program, delivering acute care to patients in their homes. He’s also a certified set medic with IATSE Local 481, providing on-set medical support for major film and television productions in the Boston area. His background in safety and medicine has made him a trusted figure on sets like Hocus Pocus 2, The Holdovers, Julia (HBO), and I Wanna Dance with Somebody.

Famolare joined the SAG-AFTRA actors’ union after landing a speaking role as a paramedic in Patriots Day (2016), earning a spot on the DVD’s back cover. He’s since appeared in background and featured roles, and in 2023, co-starred as “Crazy Coonio” in the indie action-comedy The Families Feud, now available on multiple streaming platforms.

Behind the camera, he co-directed and co-produced the award-winning documentary The Bridgewater Triangle (2013), which explores paranormal legends in southeastern Massachusetts. The film aired on Destination America and is available on Amazon Prime. The project earned regional media attention, with features on WCVB’s Chronicle and paranormal podcasts like Ghost Chronicles and Spooky Southcoast. He was also featured in the Travel Channel’s Hometown Horrorsepisode “Satanic Swamp.”

A passionate photographer, his work has been published in the Brockton Enterprise, Taunton Gazette, Newport Daily News, and Patriot Ledger. On social media, Famolare co-creates viral comedy content under “Medi-Ocre EMS” with fellow paramedic Scott Johnson. One of their sketches has surpassed 42 million views, helping them grow a following of over 115,000 on TikTok and 19,000 (and climbing) on Instagram. He’s also featured in South Shore Health’s promotional materials, merging healthcare, comedy, and media to engage and educate the public.

Famolare is represented by BFT Agency in Connecticut and Iconic Management in Rhode Island.
