Scaling a business is hard enough. Scaling it without losing your people or your culture? Even harder. I help founders, executives, and boards tackle the messy middle of growth: aligning strategy with culture, embedding Diversity, Equity Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), and handling the employee challenges that keep leaders up at night.
With 15+ years leading People & Culture across startups, healthcare, oil & gas, and enterprises of 2,200+ employees, I bring both executive-level perspective and hands-on experience. My approach is equal parts strategist and pragmatist; I'll help you design the big picture while making sure the details (compliance, policies, systems) actually work in real life. And yes, I bring just enough humour to keep things human along the way.
I look at people practices through a lens of equity, while making sure businesses have the strong foundations they need to thrive. I celebrate diversity in all its forms, because the differences we bring to the table are exactly what make teams and organizations stronger together.

I partner with organizations as a fractional People & Culture leader, embedded in the work, not parachuting in with a generic playbook. That means I learn your business inside and out, align your people strategy with your actual goals, and stay to see things through.

It's strategic and hands-on, flexible as your needs evolve, and grounded in cross-industry perspective that an internal hire often can't offer. Culture and strategy alignment. I help leadership teams align culture with business goals to drive engagement, retention, and performance. Not as a side project, but as a core part of how the business operates.
Diversity, Equity Inclusion and Belonging. I strengthen inclusion across the employee lifecycle, weaving belonging into leadership, operations, and everyday interactions. Not as a program, but as a foundation.
Employee and labour relations. I handle sensitive issues, complaints, investigations, and compliance with fairness and discretion, and follow through with the coaching, training, and policy work that prevents the next one.
People infrastructure at scale. I help organizations put the right frameworks in place to grow confidently: policies, learning and development, total rewards, org design, and recognition programs that actually reflect your values.
A bit more about me
Life's not all boardrooms and business plans. My wife and I recently spent four months living in our motor home with our two dogs and one very patient cat, which is really just another way of saying I'm fluent in flexibility, adventure, and pet chaos. Whether travelling near home or further afield (Japan was a recent favourite), I get my energy from the outdoors and from building meaningful connections, ideally around a campfire or over a good meal.
I'm also a champion of mental health, and genuinely passionate about creating spaces where people feel supported, valued, and free to bring their whole selves to work. Boardroom or picnic table.
