Marcus Daniels is Founding Partner & CEO/CIO of Highline Beta, a corporate venture studio and pre-seed VC trusted by 40+ global institutions to build and invest in new ventures beyond the core since 2016.
With 26+ years as a serial tech entrepreneur, VC general partner, and corporate innovation leader, Marcus has advised senior executives from RBC to Intuit and led 30+ corporate venture programs and 70+ startup investments.
He leads Highline’s corporate venturing platform, venture investing strategy, and vertical venture studios. Most recently, he co-founded Highline Beta ETH+AI, focused on the Future of Finance at the intersection of Ethereum, AI, and institutional capital markets.
Marcus is an active speaker and writer on the Future of Finance, exploring how Ethereum and AI are redefining venture models, capital formation, and financial infrastructure. His insights are published at CIO in BETA (www.cioinbeta.com).
Previously, he co-founded Highline VC, served as Managing Director of Extreme Startups, and built, scaled, and exited multiple digital product companies.
He holds an MBA from Queen’s Smith, a BA in Psychology and Economics from McGill, and completed graduate studies in Finance and Venture Capital.
