Vancouver, Bc Canada
I am a multidisciplinary designer and community project organizer - trained in architecture and sustainability. I have a strong background in operations management and administrative support and project and events coordination having organized and worked on several community-related projects such as Trade School Vancouver, The 24-Hour Drawing Party, and #Hatch Vancouver.
As a designer, I enjoy materials research and experimentation, always looking for ways to use materials in an innovative way or a different form. I enjoy making thing with my hands and I have a particular interest in adaptive re-use projects on a broader scale.
As a coordinator, I see connecting with the community through public events and urban interventions, that are both relevant and educational, as an on-going endeavour. I believe that shared experiences enhance community relationships and societal dynamics. I support open source technology, accessible education, and social responsibility.
