Food systems & food policy strategist | Cross-sector engagement, mobilisation & systems change across food systems | Advisor, educator, facilitator & speaker

If you’re working on food systems change and want to build something together, feel free to reach out.

I lead communities and partnerships that drive food systems transformation. I work as an advisor, educator, facilitator and speaker on food systems, food policy, public engagement and action-based storytelling.

My work is rooted in engagement, mobilisation and systems change. Through Madland, I design and facilitate formats that turn complexity into action — from dialogues and learning spaces to storytelling, programmes and public events.

Over the past 6 years, I have built and led Madland as a platform and practice for engagement, mobilisation and food systems transformation, bringing together thousands of people across the food system and convening more than 150 meetings, gatherings and collaborative spaces with actors across farming, food, policy, civil society and culture. Across platforms and projects, we have contributed to more than 5,000 media outputs and communications that translate food systems complexity into accessible narratives, a shared language and collective action.

A core part of my approach is to spark excitement and engagement by highlighting concrete, positive examples of change — showing that transformation is possible and can drive action and collective change.

My practice connects citizens, businesses, organisations and public institutions in shared food system work — not only to talk about change, but to actively shape it together.

Food systems change happens when knowledge is activated through participation, collaboration and collective action.
