Marta Dhanis is a journalist since 2005, a published author, and an educator. Based in New York, she is currently a Field Producer for Fox News. Previously, she was the U.S. Broadcast Correspondent for TVI, the Portuguese leading news network, and teaches journalism.

Besides reporting live from the field, Marta researches, produces, writes, narrates, and edits her stories. She has reported on major news events such as presidential elections, the Papal visit 2015, the US-Cuba thaw, the Boston marathon bombing, hurricanes Irene and Sandy, and the Sandy Hook shooting. Marta interviewed high-profile personalities like Hillary Clinton, former IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Emmy-winning TV personality Meredith Vieira, among others.

Marta published an investigative journalism book on a murder trial case in New York, after an exclusive with the convicted killer.

Previously, she has also worked as a contributor writer for the daily publication Emerging Money, covering emerging markets, in particular Latin America.

Before moving to New York and for several years, Marta was a business reporter and on-air talent for TVI, where she also produced and hosted daily live spots on national TV and Radio.

Marta is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French. She also speaks Arabic and German.
