Masafumi is now leading the Raspberry Pi community in Japan and volunteering Raspberry Pi Foundation since 2012 from the farthest eastern country 'Japan.' Now, he moderates the Japanese language category on Raspberry Pi's official forum.

Masafumi has also been contributing to many other OpenSource projects for a long time.

Masafumi used to work for a Major Enterprise System Integrator in Japan for 19 years. Mainly doing virtualization business as a System Engineer. Masafumi is now doing IT consulting business with Raspberry Pi worldwide, looking into Asian areas (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, etc.) primarily for Enterprise users.

Lately, Masafumi gets started an IT consulting business in Japan because of the COVID-19 problem - he cannot go abroad to get more business outside Japan. Fortunately, he has some customers and now works with them mainly 'Cloud/IoT system integrations.'
