Student in Nashville, TN
Matthew Pesner is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the department of economics at Vanderbilt University in Economics, interested in the intersection of labor economics, health economics, and economic history. During his academic career, he has worked as both a teaching assistant and a research assistant, amassing experience in econometrics, microeconomics, public finance, and health economics.
Matthew Pesner earned his undergraduate degree at Colorado College. It was while in attendance, during his sophomore year, that he first seriously began considering earning his Ph.D. in economics. A driven student, Matthew worked hard to take expected mathematics courses and get into programs that would help him in his pursuit.
