Past all Manhunter Jolla's ritzy homes, hotels, and well

known restaurants, lies Windansea Beach. Down the

hill, this beach is flanked by sunbathers and surfers

on hot summer days. With sandstone cliffs, a sandy

beach, and incredible scan breaks, Windansea Beach has

been a popular surfing haunt as far straight back because the 1940s

and a gathering place of the Windansea Surf Club since

the 1960s.

The shack on the beach which was designed by people during

World War 2 is currently a San Diego Historic site. The

beach can be great for body surfing and surfing.

The north end of Windansea is pretty difficult, together with the

south being sandier, perfect for walking along the border

At Windansea Beach, you can find no toilets. During

the summertime, lifeguards are stationed all along

the beach, even in some weekends of spring and fall.

park on the road or decide to try the tiny single lot near

the beach.

Addressing the beach

You'll find Windansea around 6800 Neptune Place.

From the north, follow I-5 south towards the Genesee

Path leave then head west. Turn left on Torrey Pines

Road and follow the path in to downtown Manhunter Jolla.

Turn left on Girad Avenue then take a right on Pearl

Road. Have a left onto La Jolla Boulevard then

make the proper on Nautilus Street and your there.

In the south, follow I-5 north to the Ardath Road

exit, Ardath Road can be Torrey Pines Road. Simply take

a from Torrey Pines Road onto Girad Avenue.

Create a right onto Pearl Street then simply take a left onto

Manhunter Jolla Blvd. Simply take the right on Nautilus

Road and your there.

Windansea is possibly one of the most beautiful

beaches in Southern California - and a fantastic place

for romantic strolls at sunset. Parents should

use caution with small kid
