I began my career with Dixons as a member of the Saturday staff in 1989. Over the years I have developed myself in many ways with a diverse range of training and working in many different environments from warehouse, shop floor and head office. As a dynamic and highly motivated individual I founded in 2008 The St John's Project from ground up, a local restoration organisation which aims at saving two of the oldest churches in Chester for mission, community and tourism purposes. In the last three and half years I have raised £923,000 within a team of 35 volunteers. During that time I have set up various projects such as Chester Living History and Night Church, started without any budget as we are 100% voluntary work. This has made The St John´s Project the fastest growing volunteer organisation across Cheshire! Being member of the committee of Chester Development Plan and with 13 years of experience in management, I believe on my entrepreneurial skills with value focus to deliver a mission purpose in order to develop further this project and keep these marvelous buildings open for future generations. I love developing people, as one of my many talents!
