As a former World Class Swimmer I wend into media but not as sports journalist ;-) In the mid 1990ies I signed with Axel Springer Verlag Hamburg. Our mission was the first regional Online Service for Hamburg and Berlin, powered by three of the most important newspapers in these cities. Unfortunately we were a bit early with that and the service was sold one year after launch. The Bertelsmann Group was my next step inside the growing online family. Wetter.de and the relaunch of CompuServer.de as web-based non propritare service are the results of my work (and the team of course) at this company. With the launch of the "Personal Information Manager" I left my footsteps at Mannesmann Arcor, which is now owned by Vodafone. The "PIM" is still one of the key elements and I am still proud of it. Since 2000 I am working with and in my own companies. My goal is to support global companies in localizing strategies and content for the German market. How it looks like, you can see at avaya.de, which is my major client.
